S.T.E.M.

This is where I post links to some decent websites for continuing education and ongoing (occasional) interests in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

SCIENCE

I TUTOR YOU CHEMISTRY DVD
An excellent resource for education in chemistry for the high school and college student.

UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY
The official website for the USGS, which "is the sole science agency for the Department of the Interior." Their "scientists develop new methods and tools to enable timely, relevant, and useful information about the Earth and its processes."(quoted from website)

TECHNOLOGY

COMPTIA
The IT industry standard for education, certification, and business.

OPEN COURSEWARE AT M.I.T.
Free, although perhaps outdated, lectures and course materials. Excellent springboard resource!

PROFESSOR MESSER
The online guru for all serious students of IT (that's information technology).

THE LINUX FOUNDATION
The hands-down leader in open source software and operating systems worldwide. I even blogged about it here.

LINUX MINT
In my opinion, the best Linux distribution. In others' opinions, the most downloaded.

ENGINEERING

BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS
What electrical and electronics engineers really do!

MATHEMATICS

MATH TUTOR DVD
Excellent lectures from a master teacher.

More to come...
