Keep in mind that the modern State of Israel is NOT the Biblical Israel of the Old and New Testaments. It is a geopolitical entity created by force, bloodshed, theft, and financial might, resulting in its birth on May 14, 1948. Period.
Yes, God allowed this travesty of international relations and foreign policy by Rothschild/Zionist/British Empire/USA interests against the native Palestinian Arabs and other peoples. For His glory, the LORD also allowed ancient Egypt to arise and enslave His people for 400 years! His judgment was on national Israel for their incalculable sins and rebellions against their Creator lasting far longer than He should have rightfully allowed.
Now, President Donald Trump wants to move the US Embassy in Israel from its current location in Tel Aviv to the ancient, historical city of Jerusalem, and thereby recognize the capital of Israel diplomatically. Not a bad idea, at least on the surface. Angry Muslims will strongly oppose this move. I like it for now. Let's see how the Zionists fare.
Another awakened mind has been liberated by serendipitous discoveries of long-hidden truths recently revealed to a new generation of inquiring minds with a world of knowledge at their fingertips. This time, it's mine!
Adolph Hitler escaped to Argentina and lived until 1962. Some of the smartest and highest-ranking Nazis were transplanted via "Operation Paperclip" over to the U.S. space and pharmaceutical industries for exponential increases in brain trust and geopolitical advantages.
Just to bookmark any future reference to this topic on YouTube, I will embed one of the many videos about Harry Cooper, the world-renowned authority on all things World War II and the Nazis here:
I am posting this SoundCloud podcast series. Obviously. Perhaps it is a bookmark for myself. Perhaps it will find other men who are seeking specific Christian edification through conference speakers they were not able to attend in person.
"Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD, and the God who answers by fire, He is God." And all the people said, "That is a good idea."
You have just entered... the Page Load Latency Zone !!!
What, pray tell, is that, you may ask (or may not)? It is the common but annoying tendency for Google Blogger to take way too many secondsto load a new page. Sheesh!
Got time to visit someone else's blog while you wait???...
Well, now that I have that off my chest, on to bigger and better things!
Worldview Mirror will perhaps be a successor blog to this one. It is a rudimentary (free) website through WordPress. The blog you are now reading began here. Perhaps this will be my last post for a while at Worldview Window. See you there!
Now, before anyone goes "postal" (a dated reference to a mass shooting by a disgruntled employee at a USPS facility), I want to air out or vent a concern I have about my mental health (no, really), after having worked at several call centers over the past few years.
I have heard about studies showing the deleterious effects of long-term exposure to computer screens, or television screens for that matter, upon the eyes and brain. It purportedly "rewires" our brains to think differently in ways that are counterintuitive if not stupid.
Which explains why "unplugging" is such a healthy recreational activity for the well-connected. So, as soon as I finish this blog post, I will obligingly sign off and resume recreational activity number one: YouTube!
Well, I just wanted to start this test post on my Blogger app with a catchy title right off the bat, so that you would continue reading the content long enough for me to think of something more profound to blog about than some misguided "test post" rambling, such as you are reading right now.
You do realize that entire previous paragraph was one long sentence, don't you? Of course, I have to question the technicality of whether a paragraph comprised of one sentence is actually a paragraph. But I digress.
There! Three paragraphs. I have no image here yet. I need to figure out how to do that with the aforementioned Blogger app.
I framed the title of today's post as a question, to intentionally make you think...
WHAT'S THE "PROBLEM?"
This was the way Adolf Hitler and members of his regime framed their national situation at the time: how to remedy the long-term negative consequences of having Jewish (and other ethnic) citizens and residents of Nazi Germany, many of whom were seen as a growing threat to the economic and national welfare of the country.
Suffice it to say, there must have been some very real and serious circumstances arising, that seemed intolerable to the vast majority of German citizens, to the point of compelling them to elect one Adolf Hitler to the helm of supreme ruler of the Third Reich, under the guise of national reform and economic recovery.
Real, serious, and intolerable circumstances are what propelled Nazi Germany from its imminent economic destruction to a nationalistic hope for a much better future, with Hitler and his reforms guiding the Ship of State's course and direction.
THE FINAL SOLUTION... NOT
How wrong and misguided Hitler's optimism was indeed! "The Final Solution" was anything but. It was a horrible one. It solved nothing.
In terms of disclosure, let me just say:
I grew up hearing and seeing evidence for the "Holocaust" in Nazi Germany. The term was coined much later.
I accepted the number of six million Jews murdered as fact, although many today think the real number is far less.
I saw the Biblical benefits for a new state of Israel as being a necessary piece of the global puzzle of geopolitical relationships, and a blessed assurance that Jesus was coming soon!
I also learned that we, along with previous generations dating back to the First Century, are living in the "last days," or the end times. The clock of world history had been synchronized with the birth of the modern state of Israel, and we are now on a prophetic "Doomsday Clock" countdown...
Has the countdown really begun? I do not think so.
ENTER PRETERISM
My theological "end times" persuasion, or eschatology (the study of last things) has shifted recently to a preterist view of Bible prophecy. This means that Holy Spirit-predicted events to come upon the earth have already been fulfilled. In the opinion of a small minority of Christians, the end of the world is no longer in our future, as Gary Demar would say.
Therefore, I am no longer encumbered by the baggage of eschatological futurism, which seems to endow every succeeding generation with the dubious distinction of being the last generation in world history before Christ returns. Besides that, we Christian "inquiring minds" want to know who the Antichrist is!
Rightly so. But more importantly, are we living in the end times? I say no. I also resist the temptation to join the endless procession of "this generation" enthusiasts who get their predictions handed back to them when, alas, Christ did not show up...AGAIN!!!
It is much simpler to think the Lord Jesus Christ did come back in 70 A.D., with the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman armies, and thus fulfilling all Bible prophecies concerning the future, at that time.
ONE MORE THING
My theological journey has recently included an unexpected turn, namely, my self-education on the long-term international threat from political Zionism, and its villainous role in international finance, war, and overthrow of sovereign governments for a greater, imperialistic agenda under the guise of Biblical prophetic fulfillment.
Yes, God permitted the modern state of Israel to be created. However, if Christ does return in my future, then please accept my sincerest apologies for misrepresenting His plan!
WORLDVIEW RESET
Which brings me to my premise:
I believe the modern state of Israel is simply not the romantic ideal, the "apple" of God's Eye, that we find in the Holy Bible!
This is not to be confused with the Biblical Nation of Israel, whom God powerfully led out of Egyptian slavery, misery, and destruction in the Old Testament.
Some of them God ultimately led to their real, spiritual destiny of eternal life in Christ, the true Israel of God, which is the result of receiving this free gift through His Son JesusChrist. Anyone who believes the gospel and trusts Christ will be saved.
It is my opinion that modern Israel is a geopolitical invention of man, which was produced through military invasions and state-sponsored terrorism against the rightful residents of Palestine, namely, the Palestinians.
Now don't get me wrong. We must, by the grace of God, reckon with the existence of a man-made Israel, for better or worse, with all of its attendant difficulties (mostly self-induced, due to its barbaric founding and continued brutality against certain natives of Arab descent). Nevertheless, God will use this for His glory!
A LITTLE BACKGROUND IS IN ORDER
Here is a lecture video by one of the foremost proponents of the view that Palestinian terrorism is the direct result of military and political invasion of the Land of Palestine by ZionistJews (not the garden variety peace-lovers), and by others, backed by financial resources from the Rothschild banking cartel (to the best of my knowledge), capable of supporting such an arduous and horrific process, designed for greater power and profit.
"As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive." (Genesis 50:20 NASB)
I do not know if this Scripture applies here. But I know it applied to the early days of Old Testament Israel. Peace and blessings to you.
Well, the present blog (i.e., "WORLDVIEW WINDOW") cannot be called "new" since it is more than 12 years old! But it does have a new feeling of sorts now that I've spent some time going over and tweaking some template stuff, and am liking the result so far.
How about the reader? What say you? What do you like or do not like about this blog? Too many questions? Not enough focus? Too rambling? No theme? Just random?
In the interest of somehow preserving my sanity, along with any remnants of rationality, after suffering a discouraging decline in productivity at work, I say... BLOG!
Maybe I should stop working at a computer screen/cubicle and start working in a warehouse... again!
If only I could. I'm fifty-three years old and not in the best shape. But how?
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, if not followed. Thanks.
Blogging is the art of textually and graphically waxing eloquent upon a given theme or subject which interests the author, who is hopefully a self-absorbed, narcissistic, trend-watching information/news junkie/warrior (like me, for example). This activity is usually best accomplished by using the (free) resources at your disposal (like Blogger), and thereby publishing the aforementioned diatribe on the Internet for universal access and perusal in what is known as the "blogosphere."
It should also prove helpful that you attempt subtle (or blatantly humorous) puns and/or turns of phrases now and then, which will hopefully bring a smile to your reader's face. See? Well, anyway...
"One more thing," saith Steve Jobs. Blogging is a high-tech attempt to penetrate the quiet desperation of solitude among far-flung netizens around the globe. But I digress.
Well, thanks for visiting my weblog (blogging website), and for indulging in this bandwidth-eating exercise which showcases nothing worthy of column inches elsewhere. I do appreciate your patronage.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: If you feel you have reached this blog in error, please deposit a
quarter for the next 10 megabytes, and try your surfing skills one more time!]
not blogged in six months!!! So goes my (formerly) Roman Catholic confession of blogospheric negligence. I am guilty as charged, and fully prepared to do penance right now. So today, I have decided to post about my recent excursions into preterism, also known as "fulfilled" or "covenant eschatology."
Why would I pursue so lofty a goal as understanding the Second Coming of Christ (with other various and sundry "last things" to be studied) you may ask? I am glad you asked. I really am.
Yesterday, I discovered an excellent series of YouTube videos on the subject of the "last days" published on the Heart of the Matter channel. My favorite preterist/evangelist for Christ, Dr Don Preston, has once again proven his genuine mettle for leading the charge against evangelical far-sightedness(futurism) in eschatology, or the study of last things. A great topic for our times, right? Always.
Suffice it to say, after having watched this debate and lecture series from Dr Preston in its entirety, I feel more confident than ever in the Bible. But more importantly, it has reinforced my persuasion toward the preteristviewpoint -- not as a replacement for the historic Christian faith, but as a supplement to it. Perhaps another Reformationis in order.
All good Christians want reformation, right? Of course we do! The hardest part of admitting to this is coming to grips with our own personal need for it. Ouch! Not always fun, but always beneficial. I hope to spark a micro-Reformation of sorts with this particular blog post, as part of a greater Reformation already happening, Lord willing.
That reformation should include eschatology, in my opinion.
To borrow a phrase from my very favorite brand of supplements, Juice Plus+, try One Simple Change to start changing the present course of your life. That change, for you, may be accepting and believing the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Or it may involve making a dietary change to improve your chances of fighting disease and illness.
Progress in a positive direction will always involve a coursecorrection. Just like a trip to the moon (I know that is reaching back in the past) involved many, many course corrections to finally reach the desired objective (moon landing), so does our life sometimes require a change in behavior, activity, thoughts, and words.
With that said, my objective is to find gainful employment. Out of past experience, and wishful thinking, I am blogging to persuade the employment gods (HR Managers) to act favorably toward my feeble efforts at employment. Since blogging happens when I am not working, I figured posting a prayer for work would effect that change for me!
There is a whole lot of "iron sharpening iron" (Proverbs 27:17) going on in this debate! Wow!
I suggest you make sure you have a good idea of what each camp teaches and where you lean, if not stand, on each issue, before watching this video, because there is plenty of fodder and fuel being flung across the aisle (figuratively speaking, to complete my alliteration).
I believe each of these men has a heart for Christ and for His people. I also personally believe about 90% of each man's doctrine as portrayed in this debate. I have to give credit to both sides for sharpening all who heard and followed the debate point by point.
I lean preterist. I myself, along with every believer of the Bible, have a long way to go before my theology is perfect.(1 Corinthians 13:12) But we all benefit from hearing both sides of every issue.
"Let every man [and woman] be fully persuaded in his [and her] own mind." (Romans 14:5)
Well, nothing like a change of font face to do a blogger good, eh?
How about that Droid Sans 14-point? Really brings the message of my blog posts out of the realm of two-dimensional flatness, huh! Not really.
Just another cyber-spacial activity to wile the time away and prevent complete boredom meltdown (CBM), as I wait for the inspiration (and email/phone call) to get a new job! Don't worry. I'm looking.
I have been pondering the possibilities of self-employment from the advice given by Gary North, libertarianism's favorite Christian economist. Trading one set of problems for another, looking for the "promised land" of economic freedom and happiness in the same lifetime.
After years of "perspectives on faith and life," I have decided to update my shifting paradigm "worldview window" blog subtitle to reflect an ever-changing database of current events and Christian growth (hopefully) in my lifetime. Sobering yet encouraging.
I hope this cosmetic, if not thematic, alteration will not detract from my myriad readers (both of you) wanting to visit this blog in the future. Perhaps some gems of truth posted here on Worldview Windowwill positively impact your appreciation for the truth, no matter how ugly or unpleasant it may be.
The unspoken, if not understood, goal of blogging is to affect change (or is it "effect"). I try to identify a problem and/or a solution, be it with faith or practice, and put it before my readers for their reflection and contemplation. I try to inject humor or graphics whenever possible to compensate for the "dry bones" of textual content.
My hope is that more people will see things my way... Just kidding!!!
My hope is actually that more people will see what I see, not necessarily the way I see it. I am just a passerby pointing out to another passerby an interesting if not troubling/amusing/edifying bit of reality (such as it is) available to all who have a pulse and an Internet connection.
Belief in God is optional, though extremely preferable in light of eternity.
Yes, friends. It is time to blog once again. When an unemployable idiot like me loses another job, there are few options left to pretend I have a "skillset" and "giftings" from God. So here I am: blogging my little heart out.
Look! I posted an image on the Internets! I know about rudimentary web design, ya know. I use Blogger to its full potential. Not every Moe, Joe, and Larry knows how to perform such highly-skilled tasks as that. But enough about my abilities, stellar though they are.
Yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking (or not). You're saying, this bozo -- er, I mean, dunce-- is a garden-variety moron! Nobody with two brain cells firing will hire a useless (or is it "useful") idiot like me to do any real, serious work. You know, high paying, high-brow stuff like Walmart or McDonald's. That's for young, upwardly mobile professionals with a mountain of student loan debt.
Wait a minute! I have a mountain (though it be small, thank the Lord), of student loan debt. Maybe I can get a job throwing pizzas or newspapers until a real job opportunity with one of these really successful temp agencies opens up!
Well, my New Year's resolution is to intentionally grow closer to God by knowing Him better through His Word, and thereby walking closer with Christ Jesus the only Lord and Savior of sinners. The Object of my faith surely deserves more of my time with Him and His people, and warrants more of my efforts to share His Word, power, and life with those who do not yet know Him.
With that being said, I have been watching a lot of YouTube videos by popular, mainstream, and Reformed preachers of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and have been very encouraged in the process.
I may be unemployed now, but I am going to Heaven later! Glory to God alone.
Which brings me to bringing to you my latest video excursion into doctrinal debates from my favorite defender of the faith against modern and ancient heresies and false teachings, Dr James White.
My only comment (for the moment) is that this misguided firebrand named Steven Anderson is passionately defending an indefensible (for the most part, according to Dr White) position of King James Version Only-ism of the Holy Bible.
Let me just say, I used to be one of them -- a King James Only believer, that is -- for a short time, maybe a few years, in the '90's. Then, little by little, I was enlightened through logic, reason, and love from other pastors and teachers who were (and still are) equally as credible as my then-current pastor of a KJV church (in terms of pulpit usage).
THE DEVIL IS GOOD AT MATH, ESPECIALLY DIVISION!
So, I became disillusioned little by little, by the grace of God, until finally, I abandoned my high-and-mighty perch above those lesser-informed masses of fellow believers in Christ who did not esteem the KJV of the Bible above all others like I did. Like "we" did.
Through the loving interaction and intervention of fellow Christians who loved me enough to pray for me and lead me in a way that was better than the way I was on, I learned how to think outside the KJV box. Not to abandon the sound doctrine I had learned thus far, but to abandon my ignorance of Bible translation issues with the KJV, which seemed to be clarified in readings from other translations, to my temporary and carnal dismay.
I could wax indefinite, if not infinite, about this whole issue. Suffice it to say, it felt good and reassuring to revisit the KJV-Only issue anew in this post. I strive to love my "separated brethren," and to keep my own emotions in check. For this is indeed a very hotly debated issue in many circles I used to run in.
I feel Dr White did a masterful job of keeping a rather overbearing and stubborn opponent under control, while maintaining a godly, father-to-son-in-the-faith exchange. In the end, it was obvious he was becoming exasperated with the unrepentant whipper-snapper, who proved to be a potentially dangerous proponent of heresy, relatively speaking.
Okay, doc. It's like this. I'm unemployed, and the thought of getting another job scares me because of my last experience with a temp agency.
I will not say which agency yet. But Adecco (now I'll say it) lied (intentionally?) to the DES UI office to avoid paying my unemployment insurance claim.
Why? The world's largest employment agency cannot afford it? Did they lie about that, too? Maybe it was just in North America, or Europe, or...
In any event, doc, you gotta help me! I think life events and unusual pressures have exerted their stresses upon me long enough to crack me under the strain. My work ethic has taken a hit. My tolerance for stress has been minimized to practically nothing. All I can do now is watch YouTube (and blog about it ;), listen to worldview-shaking podcasts (and blog about them), and hide behind my self-righteous Facebook posts...
Well, you get the idea. I'm in a world of hurt. Hopefully, God will deliver me, as He always does, from the doldrums of unemployment, hopelessness, and financial ruin. I need confidence like never before.
It is such s shame I have to resort to self-indulgent forms of communication like blogging on my smartphone to get any kind of cry for help out there. But then, that is what self-indulgent whackoes like me have to do.
Or so I think. Have a nice day, and thanks for visiting.
Well, in order to ensure that no cyberwebs have encroached upon my seldom-posted-on "weblog," (remember that old term, along with "information superhighway?"), I shall attempt to compose here a brief discourse, as it were, dealing with the subject of compelling prose.
Ha! Do you suppose I am eminently qualified to wax eloquent about the aforementioned topic? Indeed, you would be premature in your prejudice against me. For, to be premature in one's judgment is to be, in fact, prejudiced. But I digress, as usual.
I must interject at this juncture with a juxtaposition of just plain appreciation for the Peace Revolution podcast. Please see my previous post, "A Podcast To End All Wars. But I digress, again!
How now is your assessment of my treatment of the topic of compelling prose? Compelling? I trow not. (definition :) I am like the proverbial amateur connoisseur who says confidently, "I know good _______ when I see it!" Perhaps you see it. Perhaps not.
Part of writing a decent blog post is keeping your skills sharp. Even if this post today goes nowhere topically, at least I got some valuable practice in! But sometimes the inspiration from a previous post fails to carry me to completion of another "home run." Nevertheless, I try.
By the way, that was a subtle hint for you to feel free to visit my last post, because I know it is quite possibly far more interesting (compelling?) than this one. But I digress, for the last time.
Thank you for your patronage. Please come back to visit again.
For those who subscribe, literally or figuratively, to a conspiratorial view of history, let me post this latest find in the treasure trove of Internet (and elsewhere) resources at our disposal. We who care deeply about this crazy, evil world we live in, until Jesus takes us home, will find comfort in learning truth wherever it is found regarding historically significant events which affect peace and humanity.
I am listening to this podcast right now, which serves as a springboard for further research among a myriad, nay, a constellation, of podcasts and other media which tell the stories behind life-changing events in our time and in previous generations.
Time restricts me from providing you all the YouTube videos and podcasts I have listened to and watched before finally reaching this one. But here is one:
My heartfelt gratitude goes to Richard Grove for his bravery in publishing his life experiences with, or should I say, against the "status quo." This "New World Order" will stop at nothing diabolical to achieve its ends.
Please enjoy your journey through history as told by those who care about you and me, and who have and will risk their lives doing that. Thank God.
In my longstanding tradition of posting media which can be life-changing for the better, here is yet another groundbreaking (get it? organic farming...) interview by Dr Joseph Mercola of Mercola.comfame. Get the lowdown on a whole host of health issues and solutions from the world's most popular natural health website!
Not sure what today's Android-initiated blog post* will look like in terms of format and graphics. But I will say I feel better after watching Alex Jones passionately portray the facts for the world to see. Truth always attracts an audience.
After work yesterday, I listened to Sean Hannity broadcast live from North Dakota in the midst of an oil-driven economic boom going on there. The celebration of Independence Day in the USA was the perfect opportunity to showcase what happens when private property, limited government, and hard work meet together.
So, how does a convicted felon with a criminal history somehow purchase a cart full of ammunition and firearms, and proceed to shoot police officers eating lunch in Las Vegas, as well as an unwitting Walmart shopper who did not see the shooter's armed wife when confronting him with his own firearm in self-defense. Especially since he was interviewed on TV!
Can you say "conspiracy?" I can. Here's some evidence. Indeed, here is the headline that grabbed my attention while perusing Infowars:
Well, it seems that my innerconspiracy theorist has reared its ugly head yet again.
Infowars & Company have blown the lid off yet another Military-Industrial-Complex faux pas. This time, it's an American soldier who was recently released from his five-year Talibanian captivity in exchange for five (count 'em, five) Guantanamo bay detainees (terrorists).
Sounds wonderful (sort of), except I saw where the soldier's father spoke Pashtun (language of the Taliban and other Afghanis) to the American people in a news clip with his wife and President Obama at a press conference.
Wait! You mean the father is not a Duck Dynasty enthusiast? What gives with the unkempt red beard?
Oooohh... I see.
The challenge of watching this hour-long video is to keep up with all of the dots being connected by the guests and host of this Infowars episode with previous news events which were equally ignored by the mainstream media.
Red Ice Radio - Richard Grove - Hour 1 - 9/11 Ins…: http://youtu.be/bFJwVxqD4A4
This is the podcast that will blow another torpedo hole into the official, nonscientific, incredible farce that forms the foundation for the 9/11 Commission Report, and all the mass media propaganda that has been spoon-fed to the public in the interest of "national security."
If you want only official, government-approved, money-driven propaganda, watch the "alphabet channels." (Michael Savage, radio host, "The Savage Nation")
But, if you want the real inside stories people tell and die for, tune in to this and other programs dedicated to telling the truth at all costs.
Please excuse my shameless use of a familiar phrase, adapted for this post on Dr. Joel Wallach's famous lecture, "Dead Doctors Don't Lie." This is the original version, formerly on cassette tape (Google it) and now on CD.
Well, I have just watched a very powerful video of Dr. James White presenting "The Case Against Ergun Caner" in a Google+ Hangouts live stream, re-broadcast on YouTube. Apparently, Dr. Ergun Caner is still being found wanting of truthfulness about himself and others, even as an ordained Christian pastor and academic scholar of sorts. This is obviously troubling enough to warrant a lengthy address by one of Christianity's most prolific and authoritative apologists in our day, James White.
Perhaps some of you have been following (unwillingly) the ongoing saga of Ergun Caner over a series of unfortunate events which comprise the scandal. Lying and cover-ups tend to do that, you know.
A scary thought has occurred to me. Although the Caner & Company debacle/scandal of falsehoods and cover-ups since 2006 has been exposed by credible sources (like Dr. White) and denied by Caner and others, Dr. Caner was still invited by the U.S. Marine Corps to speak about the subject of knowing the mind of a jihadist to a group of marines -- as a credible authority!
Of course, I use the adjective "credible" loosely here when referring to Dr. Caner.
My concern, as a conspiracy theorist, is that I suspect Dr. Caner fits the classic profile of a CIA asset, groomed from an early age to be raised and protected until, at some point, his or her mission becomes activated through circumstances and cover-ups while accomplishing their stated goals secretly over time.
Is the case of Ergun Caner really a classic case of false flag operations by our U.S. military (and CIA?) to use Dr. Caner as a provocateur, fomenting opposition among our marines in the Middle Eastern theater. I say, may it never be! But I suspect they did.
I guess false teachers wear many hats (and uniforms). Just a theory...
An other-worldly respite is found somewhere beyond our circumstances in the place of rest found in Jesus the Messiah, the Savior of sinners like you and me.
Right now, I am listening to Faith Talk 1360. James MacDonald is preaching on our need to escape the rat race of life in this world and find our rest and hope in the person of Christ Jesus.
Just for the sake of blogging, I am typing this post with absolutely no plan in place, no format in mind or forethought as to what I want to post here.
What do you think so far? Cue the funeral dirge...
I am, however, listening to (and sometimes watching) a YouTube from Alpha & Omega Ministries called The Dividing Line. Today is a sick day. Although I am feeling well enough to blog, I am not feeling well enough to go to work... anywhere... today...
I am on an Alpha & Omega binge today. It began this past Saturday and continues today.
Watching this debate is a great way to expose oneself to the art and science of Biblical interpretation known as hermeneutics. I found this video on YouTube of a "spirited" debate between Trinitarians (Dr. James White and Dr. Michael Brown) and non-Trinitarians (Sir Anthony Buzzard and Joseph Good).
It is really quite good. I used to watch Jewish Voice Broadcast on KPAZ Channel 21 (Trinity Broadcasting Network) years ago. I also remember watching Joseph Good on TBN in the early 90's. These programs were quite influential on my formative years as a Christian.
Finally, it is also refreshing to see the Holy Spirit work so well through the scholarly and debate-worthy teamwork of Drs. Brown and White (very colorful indeed). I used to listen to Dr. White, in the late 90's, on KPXQ 1360 AM.
Sadly, the skeptical nature of the non-Trinitarian side leaves much to be desired with its "pretzel logic" of unbelief in the otherwise obvious doctrine of the Deity of Christ. It is a non-issue for true believers. I can only hope that these men are more than "almost persuaded" (Acts 26:28) of this.
"Well, it's about time this fool starts following the sage advice of a good friend about his blog and...
...HAVE A THEME!!!"
-- The Giraffe
Now I must ask you: when was the last time you got advice -- ANY advice -- from a giraffe? Not often.
But this is different. This is a blog about SOMETHING. A "worldview" is something. Especially when it's coming from 16 feet off the ground! But I digress.
You may see lots of posts in this blog about computers and politics and Christianity and historic events and worldview topics. In fact, you will see them all. Blogging is therapeutic if not cathartic, both for the author and the reader. Hope springs eternal.
At this point, I may throw in a video from my Android smartphone. Here goes.
Nope. No video. Hmm...
For my next trick, I will close this post intelligently.
Okay, I am typing this post on a Droid Razr M (an Android smartphone for those of you in Sunnyslope, Arizona).
So I visited WordPress.com the other day and was pleasantly surprised by its functionality. I have not done much blogging there since abandoning my HTML5ORBUST! endeavor last year.
You may visit WebDevelopments or search this blog for coverage (if any) of my web design career exploits. Fun, fun, fun!
As I was saying, I really liked the possibilities of what I saw (and have not seen yet) at WordPress. I know they are a very popular and capable website content management system (CMS), as I have seen their name in website URLs and hosting credits for years. Very impressive appearance and functionality, indeed.
I look forward to exploring further their mobile platform functionality in the very near future as well.
So! Until I get my fingertips "wet" with WordPress, and "get the blog rolling," you may be called upon to endure another post or two in that other well-known blogging platform which gave many of us experienced users their first blog!
In the interest and spirit of stockpiling video footage (evidence) for your viewing pleasure and enlightenment (and mine), I am posting an excellent YouTube upload from the work of G. Edward Griffin in collaboration with InfoWarscalled, "The Collectivist Conspiracy."
Well, I now claim the divine right of bloggers (and kings) to delve into political discourse and media in today's post. It is certainly a matter of worldview, indeed.
Here is a virtual (literally) classic "motion picture" lecture from August 22, 1968 by G. Edward Griffin, a recognized documentary filmmaker and speaker on the subject of the "New World Order" and its possible defeat.
Through the diligent efforts of people like him who research and report on such subjects that explain quite satisfactorily why the world is in such the mess that it is -- and has been for quite a long time -- you and I have access to the true facts of history.
This is, in my opinion, one of the most comprehensive, fair, and balanced (and timely) discourses on this subject by one of the most capable speakers to do the job quite well, namely, G. Edward Griffin. It is hard to believe it was delivered some 45 years ago!
Sit back, relax, and be educated to the point of fulfillment that someone has (and still does) their homework on such a massively important topic as world affairs.
Dr. William Mounce has recently posted a new seminar on his BiblicalTraining.org website, which I highly recommend. It is called, "Translations," and is about the issues involving proper and understandable translation of the Bible.
At the risk of life and limb (maybe), I am posting this video by Glenn Beck on our government's direct financial ties (and nooses) to insider trading, which is legal!
G. Edward Griffin is an authority on Quigley, as well as on the Federal Reserve Systemand other unsavory (but enlightening) topics. YouTube explodes with videos on these two men, different in viewpoint, but observing the same thing: global government. Watch and learn!
I highly recommend occasional excursions into truth-seeking and muckraking (sometimes) to find answers to those mysteries of life which escape our immediate grasp, but are subjects of inquiring minds and good historians. Wikipedia, Infowars, and YouTube are but three resources available on the Internet. They may not be exhaustive or flattering to their subjects. But they certainly encourage further study elsewhere.
Thanks for visiting.
In today's post, I am pondering the ramifications of getting control of my finances.
"What if," (to borrow a phrase from Judge Andrew Napolitano), I saved a small percentage of each paycheck and invested it. Any gains I realize would go toward paying off debt.
I am doing this on my Android smart phone because I don't want to fire up my desktop dinosaur (yet). That will be for heavier duty tasks like printing and other resource-intensive computing.
I set up alerts on all my upcoming bills throughout the month to give me a "heads-up" when something is coming due. Peace of mind is the first dividend paid from taking control of your finances.
It took me hours to update my accounts and transactions this past Saturday. Result:
"Hi, my name is Peter, and I'm a debt slave."
Admission is the first step to recovery. Now comes the real work: paying off debt!
I have been taking a good, hard look at my finances. And it ain't pretty. Take a look at what I've found:
debt up the wazoo. (where is that?)
temporary employment (better than none)
no more bullet points
What's left? Internet excursions into topical wonderlands which solve none of my financial challenges, but definitely alleviate the pressure through amusement and diversion. Like blogging.
As I watch Fedora 19 Linux update itself on my dad's old Dell PC here, I am reminded of why I created this blog: to express my musings about life through a Christian worldview.
Meanwhile, my financial world is a house of cards, tumbling around me as I watch pretty face cards flutter past my window and fall to the ground. Unless, something changes, nothing will.
Better go check on Fedora. She can only do so much...
Just want to "bookmark" another media file for future reference here:
THEN AND NOW (Preterist Podcast by Dr. Ed Stevens)
I am listening to this podcast and will comment momentarily...
Suffice it to say, the Book of Genesis should be taken literally -- i.e., the sense in which it was intended (history, prophecy, allegory, parable, etc.). I agree with Dr. Stevens' arguments for a "literal" six-day creation of all things.
Dr. Stevens even endorses one of my linked ministries here at Worldview Window, namely, Answers in Genesis(see right sidebar)!
A pretty good summation of Revelation 13, which I just read, was offered by Gary DeMar in this video: "What Revelation Doesn't Say." No "millennium" here.
Looks like John MacArthur'sStrange Fire Conference has (wait for it...) SPARKED an ongoing, widespread, "in-house/family" debate among brothers and sisters in Christ (or not).
Worth hashing out, without getting "burned."
Author's Note: the above link to "Strange Fire Conference" is a better one for Grace To You's collection than that found in my previous post, which I searched for myself .
Now, you can see what I'm "selling" here at Worldview Window: resources to help shape your worldview to fit God's Word. Everyone, including me, needs that!
I recently decided to watch Dr. John MacArthur's conference, "Strange Fire," about the Charismatic Movement's excesses and abuses. I highly recommend watching/listening to the videos of the sessions. They will violate your comfort zones (they did mine) and slay ("in the Spirit") your sacred cows.
Nothing says "listen to me" like hearing your favorite preacher (or the top five of your A-list) being categorized in an unfavorable, unbiblical camp by another of your favorite preachers!
Thank God there are people out there who will rise up against tyranny that kills. We do this verbally--notviolently. In calling today's post Mother of All Conspiracies, I am speaking of the murder of JFK.
Tomorrow marks the 50th anniversary of this heinous crime.
There are many events in history that exemplify evil in this world. But this one points to the audacity of the powers that be, in our world, to commit vicious crimes openly, and to try covering up their guilt.
My heart says, "Not on our watch! Not in our world!"
Today' post comes after losing my first one to oblivion after changing over to 4G from Wi-Fi. I am here at work in the parking lot on my break on my Android all about prepositions! But I digress.
Seriously, I learn what not to do every time I use this thing (Motorola Droid RAZR M). Today, I was reminded to ensure a good connection to the Internet before composing a blog post, or anything else! That may save you grief...
Did I mention "save?"
Oh, yes. Save work before losing it. Or you may end up "losing it" if you catch my 100+°F drift. This is September weather after all.
Well, I must close this post and hope it goes out there! God bless!
AS THE FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY of the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy approaches (November 22, 1963), I have been watching -- in my spare time, of course -- videos about this national tragedy, which was (and is) emblematic of a most serious problem to peace-loving people around the world. Namely, the absolute corruption of absolute power.
I believe JFK was one of many victims of the "Military-Industrial-Complex" (Eisenhower) power struggle going on everywhere around us.
The brutal rule of tyrants throughout history is no longer a remote concern reserved only for far-flung lands, never touching our home shores. See InfoWars.
The mass media of audio, video, and print have supplemented our basic modes of communication to accelerate the spread of information around the globe. Technology has parted the curtains hiding the indescribable cruelty of human beings to each other. The sad reality of sin and misery bear their full fruit every day, and we may post its evidence online for a digital world to see.
Witness the murder of JFK. Literally.
A casual search onYouTubeyields volumes of video and websites to research any subject. This ability only asks for sufficient time in the day and life of Internet citizens to expose themselves to what could otherwise be satisfactorily ignored for sanity's sake.
Let me suggest Richard Belzer, Jim Marrs, and Mark Lane as excellent starting points to research this most intriguing subject. The general consensus, in my opinion, of these sources is that our own Central Intelligence Agency plays an essential role in many high- and low-profile crimes justified in the name of national security.
God is the Ultimate Judge of mankind -- indeed, of creation. It behooves His creatures (you and me) to look to Him for trust in His goodness and judgment, and to rely on His salvation in His Son Jesus Christ. Things can be awful in this life. But only Jesus saves to the uttermost!
In such a generally-themed blog like this one ("worldview window"), I reserve the right as its owner and author to publish edifying media like the following video. It is a presentation by a leading physician in America on the subject of real, clinically proven benefits of taking Juice Plus.
Intentionally, I am including a link to buy it and try it. There is no long-term commitment to buy a minimal amount every month. Just visit my website to learn all about it, and try it for yourself.
Are you kidding me? There is so much researchbacking this product up, that every human being needs the whole food, antioxidant, phyto-nutrient (plant-based), no sugar, fruit-and-vegetable, berries and grains POWER of Juice Plus!
Because of employer concerns, I had to delete the following tweet from my Twitter feed. The name has been hidden to protect the paranoid. Perhaps in the future, I will divulge the name of the financial industry-leading investment firm I am not speaking of ;)
Please note: when I deleted this tweet on Twitter, I also lost the formatting that goes with it. Nevertheless, here it is, without fanfare:
In true multiplatform fashion, I am tweeting on Facebook about starting a temp assignment at ___ May 29.

Geek Alert: I learned that I must "embed" my tweets here in order to have their full effect of having appeared on Twitter!
Welcome to the latest, greatest, new and improved Worldview Window! I hope you enjoy your visit.

I have made so many cosmetic and substantive changes to this blog, that I was left with one option for conveying the sheer import of its grand metamorphosis: a screenshot! In the event I refresh my blog in the future again, I have preserved for posterity an image for future reference of my blog's "former glory."
Leave a legacy. Google can help. God bless. Come again.
Here at Worldview Window, we leave no vent behind.
I wish to vent my current frustration over losing my temporary job. No negative emotion has escaped my full venting powers since I received the awful news last Friday. In my solitary moments, I have not hesitated to engage in full-on, sinful behavior toward God, with cursing and profanity. My family as well have been the involuntary listeners to my angry comments and vitriol toward "my masters."
Who else will listen? Certainly not my employers. I need a real human being on my side. Thank you, Jesus.
Tomorrow, I begin the process all over again. Pray for me. Thank you.
Who needs a blog anyway? I can "tweet," "Facebook," and "text" my innermost (filtered) thoughts to all the world simultaneously. Can a blog do that? No. Well, not without a lot of time and trouble swindling and securing readers-- lots of them.
Perhaps I am just old-school enough to need a little throwback to a typewriter/keyboard session meant to restore my sense of literacy and "educatedness." Capitalization, punctuation, and grammar count here :)
Only the best blogs ever make the cut for loyal readership and attention-spanning (get it?). That is what a blog shoulddo.
Compare this functionality with that of a text message, which is a momentary lapse in interpersonal communication just long enough to thumb out a quick missive to the digitized masses out there on their various mobile devices, one of whom is hopefully someone you know, love, and/or trust. Indeed, the instant gratification of getting an answer back is priceless. Contact with another human being has been established once again.
Or better yet (in some cases), a tweet is good, which is a 145-character statement or question or comment or hyperlink or embedded video...
Or Facebook, which has becomea verb as well as a synonym for publishing comments and other such content that the sender and receiver mutually agree to indulge in to the questionable edification of both. Almost as much fun (or more than) being there!
But a blog is the lumbering dinosaur that refuses to die in the age of instant messages with little or no analysis behind them. Ponder the meaning of life and the issues therein, put fingers to keyboard, and presto, you are ablogger!
The sky (or "cloud") is the limit. Some restrictions apply.
We members of the fallen human race (you know who you are) need to share our lives and experiences however and whenever we can. In an age of net population increase ("boom") and gross telecommunication advancement, let us join and embrace the capabilities at our fingertips before the governments of this world seize our beloved freedom of speech, and we are left with pen and paper passed between prison cells.
Well, I am presently uploading a video shot with my Droid smartphone to YouTube. As it completes this momentous task, I am composing this post and falling asleep.
So much to share, so little time.
Please deposit 75 cents for the next three minutes? We've come a long way!
Today, I had opportunity to indulge myself in listening to and watching Fireflight. I even listened to the whole album!
I first saw Fireflight at a Christian Winter Jam Music Festival at US Airways Center in 2011 to the best of my recollection. It was immediately apparent to me this band of Spirited and talented musicians were very well-loved by the audience, and I immediately "felt the love" from them and for them as well.
Fast forward to last year, when I was invited to another Christian rock concert, this time at Christ Church of the Valley. Guess who was in the line-up again? You guessed it! Fireflight!
Well, having watched their YouTubevideos ad nauseum (impossible, really), and visited their website at FireFlightRock, I immediately liked their music and lyrics - and spirit. If you like layers of technologically-enhanced, hard-driving rock with beautiful lyrics and life-changing perspective, Fireflight will meet your needs.
Their music videos won my heart. Their refreshing style appeals to me as good rock music and creativity in one tight package. Most importantly, the object of their affection is God. And you.
Needless to say, I look forward to my next opportunity to see and hear their tight rock rhythms, impeccable lyrics, heart-winning theology, warm and humorous documentary videos, and more.
This post is being typed on a smartphone. I long for a laptop with tablet capabilities. I have seen them in video of the ConsumerElectronics Showrecently.
